#InternMax helps supervise our New Comic Book Day prep. He’s a good boy! #VEInterns

Hey folks! Wondering what new treasures await you today in the comic shop? We have you covered. Not only can you find a comprehensive list of all the new comics, graphic novels and restocks we received in this week’s Incoming post, we’ve had a chance to read some of today’s books, and have some spoiler free thoughts for you!

These typically go out on Tuesday night over on Twitter, so if you want to get in on the action early, pop over there and look for the #preNCBD hashtag to get the scoop.

This book has some amazing art, and fills in some previously unseen time during the original AVATAR movie. #preNCBD pic.twitter.com/uMeKShteKk

IRONHEART is pretty sweet. She’s got a Peter Parker feel to her. Just a youth trying their best. Helping make her neighbourhood safer. pic.twitter.com/O9gClUBxLb

INVADERS starts bringing the WWII team of Cap, Bucky, Namor and the old Human Torch together, and cuts the action with flashbacks to the war.

As one character states, “the world could do with remembering the war right about now” and the story builds from that premise. #preNCBD pic.twitter.com/XDZJTP5iMg

I’m always happy to read another Atlantis story! This time, it’s right under New York. Wonderful! Except for Hel’s dad. But you’ll have to read it to find out what happens! pic.twitter.com/gb95fMYfkz

I’m really behind on this series, but I’m soooo happy that Streaky is on this variant cover! And they’re wearing a cape, too! pic.twitter.com/g5BBy8M6SZ

Last, but not least (because I have to go to bed sometime!), The Life of Captain Marvel was amazing. Seeing Carol in a family-centric story felt fresh and revealing. pic.twitter.com/IIDTefW1Ux

And there is so much more we didn’t have a chance to get to because… well, admittedly, I ended up falling down a rabbit hold of trying to update this website via phone and encountered a snafu that tanked my night. The good news? We’ll both be in the store today to talk about all the cool things. Until then, here’s a little bonus from last night.

We love you, Wolverine.
